Mobile phone detector
RoadMetric
The past decade has seen a drastic increase in car crashes as a result of distracted drivers using their mobile phones. A new feature on RoadMetric’s Enforcement Deputy surveillance platform helps law enforcement catch these dangerous drivers by automatically detecting handheld phone use, capturing video evidence of the violation to enforce the law and reduce fatalities on the road.

In-Car Video
A mobile video enforcement platform
A mobile video enforcement platform
Our basic in-car video surveillance package. With up to eight HD cameras, each with a field of view of up to 90-110°, you can achieve full coverage of the area around the vehicle. The system can easily integrate with third-party radar detectors, cameras, and back-office systems. Manual event tagging saves audio/video for use as evidence.
This basic package can be upgraded with any or all of the other features offered by RoadMetric: ANPR, video analytics for automated event tagging, and many more.

Mobile ANPR
A mobile automatic number plate recognition system
A mobile automatic number plate recognition system
RoadMetric's advanced Mobile ANPR system is the first that is designed to work in a mobile environment, detecting and identifying number plates while both camera and target are in motion. It is capable of reading number plates with a 96% hit rate at relative speeds of 140 kilometers per hour or more.
Mobile ANPR can process information from two cameras at a time, each with a 50° field of view. The system is hardware-agnostic, using any camera you like that meets minimum requirements.

Bus Lane Enforcer (BLE)™
Mobile public transport lane enforcement
Mobile public transport lane enforcement
RoadMetric's new BLE system sharply reduces the infrastructure and maintenance costs required for the enforcement of bus lanes.
Instead of mounting thousands of cameras along many kilometers of road, BLE installs cameras in the buses themselves. They can therefore appear anywhere in the lane at any time, making enforcement all the more effective.
GPS and advanced video analytics identify the location and violation, and ANPR is used to issue a ticket - all with no involvement from the bus driver.

Enforcement Deputy™
A mobile automated traffic enforcement system
A mobile automated traffic enforcement system
The RoadMetric Enforcement Deputy™ system flags traffic violations committed around a patrol car while it is in motion. It detects and automatically tags tailgating, speeding, illegal passing, and illegal lane changes. Events can also be flagged manually.
ANPR is used to identify the vehicle committing the violation, and audio/video recordings are made of what happened both before and after the event. Individual frames from the recording can be attached to tickets that can be printed on the spot.
